The Edge Hosting was founded in June 2009 by a group of web-savvy entrepeneurs who tired of the mediocrity of most of the web hosts they used in their business dealings.
They were overpriced, oversold or undersupported, with service starting out fine, only to slow down as sites crowded the server we were placed on. We grew tired of being treated poorly, with tickets sitting for days with little response, or simple a cookie cutter, pasted reply by an obviously overworked support staff person. We vowed to create a host that valued the customer, and not just the bottom line.
We've tried all the "unlimited" hosts out there pretty much, and usually in the hosting business that means "Unlimited within our discretion". If you use too much, you either get suspended or exiled to a slower server where all of the "trouble" customers go, and your uptime and performance suffer.
The Edge Hosting was created to change all of that. Our two goals: to provide fast, quality hosting for all types of websites, and to treat our customers like human beings, and not like faceless numbers on a spreadsheet, and to provide easy, simple pricing and features without all the broken promises and nonsense that clouds the decision of what host to choose.

Our servers are located in a state of the art data center in Northern California and includes raised floors, comprehensive security, climate control, fire control, uninterrupted power and 24x7 monitoring and support. Server specs are: 4 Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors, 12GB of RAM, and large RAID-10 hard drives. Mega companies like Microsoft, Google, EBay and other similar companies are peered with the network we use, so you're not getting hosted on some fly-by-night servers, but some of the best available today. We take our hardware seriously.
